INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Cook bacon (crispy is best).

STEP 2: Put ground beef into large bowl.

STEP 3: Fold chopped Granny Smith apple, chopped jalapeño, and bacon into ground beef until mixed well.

STEP 4: Add salt, pepper, and lime juice (from ¹⁄₂ a lime).

STEP 5: Shape into four hearty patties.

STEP 6: Heat outdoor barbecue to medium high.

Grass-fed beef is a protein that is not only easy on the body but also one of the most insanely tasty versions of red meat you can get. Now, make that grass-fed meat a burger topped with avocado, mango, and a twist of citrus? You’ll have a summer dish that’s beautiful, healthy, and refreshing. Creating an interesting burger has become my personal grilling challenge, so when Weber Grills came out with its colorful portable grills and wanted a few foodies to get creative with it, I readily answered the call. This summer when you get ready to light up the grill, don’t be afraid to try new things or to put your spin on a traditional classic.
