Editor in Chief
Stephanie Wilson is a founding partner and editor in chief of Sensi Magazine, overseeing the publication’s editorial expansion into dozens of markets across the country. Sensi currently has editions in Denver/Boulder and in Southern Colorado, and the first three California editions—Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego—launch early 2018. Since graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2003, Stephanie has spent her career making magazines, focussing on lifestyle and travel titles. By her late twenties, she was editorial director of Haute Living, launching a series of uber-luxury lifestyle titles in Miami, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles and overseeing the online division. She then went on to launch Royal Media Partners, the onboard media program for the world’s second-largest cruise company, Royal Caribbean Cruises, creating a five-tier integrated media program that included print, video, web, app, and live marketing components. In summer 2015, she relocated to Denver, where she met Ron Kolb and heard his vision for a series of pro-cannabis city lifestyle magazines. She got to work bringing Sensi to life. The premiere Sensi Denver/Boulder edition was published in April 2016.
Leland has spent his entire career in journalism. He was a reporter, columnist, and editor at many newspapers, including The Kansas City Star and the Colorado Daily in Boulder. He was the founding editor of Boulder Weekly, an award-winning news publication, and has written Weed Between the Lines, a column about cannabis legalization issues, since 2013. He was editor in chief for Flatirons magazine, an award-winning travel magazine for the Boulder/Denver area, and was editor of Blues Access, a quarterly blues journal. He’s been active in radio and television for 25 years, hosting programs on KGNU, a non-profit radio station, where he discusses cannabis issues. He’s also been the online editor for Free Speech TV, a non-profit television station.
Managing Editor, Southern Colorado
Randy’s start in cannabis began as a molecular biology student at the University of Colorado. While there, he studied under cannabinoid researcher Robert “Dr. Bob” Melamede, PhD and learned that cannabis did a lot more than cause hunger and giggles. He’s been seen on Merry Jane and AlterNet, and he previously served as an editor at Culture Magazine. He also wrote about sex, politics, and war for a current events blog he co-founded with Elie Nakouzi of Lebanon's MurrTV.
