420 Festival - Round 2
Wiz and Weezy, baby — for FREE
Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Thomaz, built a career in hip hop as a prolific weed smoker. Rumor goes he's wanted to play at Denver's 420 Festival for some time, and this year he finally gets his wish. Wiz, however, is no stranger to Colorado's cannabis scene: recently, he released his personal brand of Khalifa Kush strains to our state's legal market.
When Wiz Khalifa first came up in the last half of the 2000s, the media pegged him the "young Snoop Dogg," a skinny, gaunt-faced rapper who could spit smooth verses while blowing a plume of sativa smoke. His first mainstream hit came in 2010 with "Black and Yellow," and he's been on 24-hour radio rotation ever since.
Lil Wayne, the "Goblin of Hip Hop," is of one rap's most iconic acts. He landed on the scene in 1996 as a member of Louisiana's Hot Boys with Juvenile, B.G., and Turk. Today, he holds four Grammys, including one for Best Rap Album, and stands as one of the top-selling recording artists of all time. Name any rapper or R&B artist who's had a hit in the last ten years, and there's an excellent chance Wayne collaborated with them.Visit Event Website for More Info
