Southwest Immersions of Gene Kloss
Jan. 19 – May 12. Southwest Immersions of Gene Kloss explores the specific subject matter of the painter and printmaker who made Taos, New Mexico her home for 70 years. A California native, Kloss (1903-1996) is known primarily for her expansive natural landscapes. This exhibit explores how such topics as religion, architecture, darkness, and American Indian ceremonies fit into her larger view of the American Southwest in the twentieth century. Open Wed-Sat 11AM-4PM, Sun Noon-4PM.
