Icons of the Plains

Art Exhibit

Jan 26 – May 19. Icons of the Plains. According to Christopher J. May, "’Icons of the Plains’ is the result of more than a decade of photographing the grain elevators that are ubiquitous to the communities of America’s heartland. I have been fascinated with grain elevators as long as I can remember. Aesthetically, I find a beauty in their utilitarian design. But they also represent something more to me. When I see a grain elevator, I think of the generations of farm families that have toiled to feed a hungry, growing nation. . Wed – Sat 11AM-4PM, Sun Noon-4PM.
